I attended Auburn High School in the city of Auburn, Alabama. I obtained a Bachelors degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Alabama where I graduated magna cum laude in 2013. I am excited to start the next chapter of my life at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine this fall.
Experience
I have tutored for the past three years with TRIO Academic Services at UAB. I have also privately tutored various students in a variety of math and science classes for the past five years. Additionally, I served as the Chemistry Coordinator for the CollegeFirst Preparation Program. I enjoy tutoring because I believe that everyone is capable of learning, but some students simply need more one-on-one instruction. I love the idea that I am helping students achieve their academic goals.

Hobbies
During my time off, I enjoy running outdoors. I truly enjoy preparing for races. I hope to run a full marathon this upcoming winter. I also enjoy photography and painting. I mostly photograph individuals for portraits. My favorite hobby is to paint with watercolors. I find it very relaxing and a good way to express my creativity.
